At Brussian Strokes we can take care of all yours mounting and laminating needs.
At our location we have the ability to mount and laminate on any substrate. Your choice of
materials use for laminates with UV protection to give your images and displays that extra
life. 54" width as long as you need.
 We offer a choice of materials to finish your project.
Custom materials provided on request, such as plexi mounting.
Gatorboard is a compressed styrofoam with a thin card backing.
Scintra is a fireproof material that meets maximun fire regulations for display materials.
Lamination offers protection against spills, fingerprints & UV.

Mounting is great way to display items for short periods of time.
Due to the foam center, mounted items tend to warp if not framed.
As this is a permanent non-reversible process, Brussian Strokes does not
recommend this process for any item of either monetary or sentimental value.
What is Laminating? This is a method of permanently adhering a UV protective finish to
an item. As this method does not add any stability to the item, it is usually combined with
another mounting process either drymounting or plaquemounting. Laminating film is
available in a number of textures and finishes to complement all types of art from gloss
to canvas finish.
Pressure Sensitive Adhesives
Instabond
When quality counts, Instabond is the solution. This adhesive's thicker release
liner is easier to handle than the competition and allows for a smoother, more professional
finish. Instabond is perfectly suited for photo print mounting and all graphic art
substrates. Its white film carrier provides an opaque layer between the image and the
substrate hiding imperfections in the mounting board and eliminating "orange peel." It also
performs extremely well in adverse conditions such as high heat and humidity.
Instabond C
Instabond C is a double-coated polyester film. It has a 1 mil polyester carrier coated
on both sides with 1.1 mils of a high tack, moderate peel, moderate shear acrylic adhesive.
A premier clear carrier film, Instabond C is used in the graphic arts industry for photo print
mounting. Instabond C makes it easier to view the coated substrate prior to mounting the
image and makes it easier to trim when mounting's completed. The acrylic solvent adhesive
performs well in adverse conditions, and the 76 lb gloss liner ensures a smoother end product.
Instabond R
Instabond R is a 1/2 mil polyester film with a high-tack synthetic rubber-based
adhesive on one side of the polyester carrier, and a low-tack synthetic rubber-based
adhesive on the other. For short-term signage and floor graphics, Instabond R provides
a high-quality, economical, 2-sided adhesive solution. The high-tack, permanent adhesive
on one side forms a permanent bond to the print. The low-tack, removable adhesive on the
other side allows the print tobe lifted cleanly, leaving no adhesive residue.
Instabond VT
Instabond VT is a 2.0 mil polypropylene clear film that is double-coated to provide
a permanent acrylic adhesive on one side and a removable acrylic adhesive on the other.
It functions as a nonslip adhesive, yet removes easily and cleanly from most smooth, clean
surfaces. Instabond VT has been specially designed for short-term window graphics. It
allows unimpeded outdoor viewing of indoor-mounted graphics under a variety of conditions
and lights, and lifts cleanly away, leaving no adhesive residue.
Instabond Wide
Instabond Wide is a permanent acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive with two paper
release liners. For mounting of oversized 72" photographic and ink jet prints, Instabond Wide
is the perfect solution - resulting in a high-quality, durable end product.
Megabond
Megabond is a double-coated white polypropylene film. Its 1.2 mil polypropylene
carrier is coated on both sides with 1.2 mils of a moderate-tack rubber adhesive. When
cost is key, Megabond provides an economical general-purpose mounting alternative
without sacrificing quality. Unlike competing products and their waterbased acrylic
adhesives, Megabond features a unique moderate-tack rubber adhesive that facilitates
prints positioning without grab and then forms permanent bonds to most common
laminating boards and virtually all grades of print media. Megabond is also less susceptible
to heat and moisture and provides better bonding to low-energy surface materials such as Sintra®.
Megabond C
Megabond C is a moderate-tack permanent pressure sensitive adhesive with a
moisture stable polycoated release liner and clear polyester carrier film. For general-purpose
applications, Megabond C was specially designed to offer many of the qualities and benefits
of Instabond C - at a more economical price point. Unlike competing adhesive's waterbased
acrylic adhesive, Megabond C features a unique moderate-tack rubber adhesive that facilitates
prints positioning without grab and then forms permanent bonds to most common laminating
boards and virtually all grades of print media. Megabond C is also less susceptible to heat and
moisture and provides better bonding to low-energy surface materials such as Sintra®.
Viewbond
Viewbond is a clear polyester film carrier double-coated with an optically clear
permanent acrylic adhesive and a polyester liner on each side. The adhesive has added UV
inhibitors. When an optically clear adhesive is required - such as first surface or second
surface mounting of transparencies to acrylic and other clear or translucent substrates
Viewbond is an excellent choice. It features added UV inhibitors to protect images from
fading and an easy peel release liner.
